The agreement

By using Harubo you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, so they are short.

Harubo is provided as it is, for your personal use. You may use it on the devices your app store account allows.

Harubo is not a medical device

Harubo is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

The analytics in Harubo are descriptive summaries of what you typed in. A streak, a habit strength score, a momentum figure or a correlation between two habits describes your own records and nothing more. None of it is a health assessment, and none of it should be used to make a medical decision.

If something about your health concerns you, please talk to a doctor rather than to a habit tracker.

Your data, and your backups

Everything Harubo records stays on your device. That is a feature, and it has one consequence worth stating plainly: if you lose the device, or delete the app, that data is gone, and we cannot recover it for you because we never had it.

Harubo can export a complete backup file and restore from one. If your history matters to you, take one occasionally and keep it somewhere you trust.

What we do not promise

Harubo is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of defects.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law, and in some places that includes rights this paragraph cannot take away.

Purchases

This version of Harubo is free and contains no in-app purchases and no subscription. Crumbs, decor and palettes are earned inside the app by using it, and cannot be bought.

Changes

These terms may change when the app changes. The date at the top says when they were last updated, and the current version is always in the app under Settings.
